Workshop for birth professionals, including doulas, midwives, antenatal teachers, active birth teachers etc looking to add to their professional skills and increase the services offered to their clients.

 
 

This one-day workshop explores how slings can be used in pregnancy, labour and birth to support the mother and baby. From gentle massage and bump support in pregnancy to techniques to help an active labour and birth to postnatal massage and nurturing, you’ll have the chance to try a range of traditional techniques.

Victoria Ward created this course based on her experience of running birth preparation workshops for pregnant mothers and birth parners. She is a qualified Antenatal Teacher and holds the DipHE in Antenatal Education. She is also a Birthlight Antenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher and she has studied pregnancy massage and traditional Mexican rebozos techniques
